Get Your Skin Holiday Party Ready

The holiday season is upon us and to be quite frank, it’s already overwhelming! With work, family and parties happening, endless shopping and juggling work and kids, the last thing you should be worried about is trying to figure out how to get your face to match that fabulous outfit. We are here to save the day (or night) with these tips to get your skin ready for the festivities.

THE NIGHT BEFORE

Step #1 Wash and tone your face.

Step #2 Exfoliate the dead skin, refine pores and smooth out your skin texture with a gentle, yet effective exfoliant.

Step #3 Apply a mask that contains ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen or aloe. This soothes and hydrates the skin, plumps up any fine lines and wrinkles and gives you a fabulous glow. Leave on for 20 minutes and move to Step #4.

Step #4 Apply some serum to any areas of concern. For breakouts, spot treat with a highly effective serum that will reduce inflammation and irritation over night, Look for fast acting ingredients like salicylic acid or tea tree oil. For redness, use a serum that has advanced soothing and ant-redness properties. Ingredients like chamomiles, lavender or marine algae have been found to be very effective. Wait a minute before you move to Step #5.

Step # 5 Moisturize. A nice light moisturizer for breakout prone skin and a heavier one for dry/mature skin.

Step #6 Time for eye and lip treatments. Apply Amber Skincare 24kt Gold Eye Masques for a minimum of 20 minutes to give your tired eyes the boost of brightness and hydration they need to get through the next day.
